REDUCED TICKETSReduced tickets: It is possible to purchase a ticket at a reduced price for children aged between 6 and 18 years and students under 25 years on presentation of a student identity card (International Student Card) on the day of the visit.
If a reduced price ticket is purchased without the required documents the visitor will be asked to make payment of a full price ticket so as to enter. The reduced ticket will not be refunded.
Free tickets: Free for children under 6 travelling with their parents.
DETAILED INFORMATIONReservation: In order to make the reservation online please have on hand the following documents: an identity document and names of all the participants. After the reservation request is confirmed, the applicant will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of the email address used for booking. After the confirmation you will receive the voucher containing the reservation code and tour information. The applicant is asked to print off the voucher (it is also possible to show it on a smartphone or tablet) as to present it on the day of the visit. The reservation will be checked by means of the bar code present on the voucher. In case of loss of the voucher please consult the Customer Care Staff.
It is possible to modify the reservation date depending upon availability. It isn't possible to make changes to the number of participants.

Meeting point: The day of the visit, before to enter into the Vatican Museums ("Viale Vaticano"), show to the people desk (right side of the entrance) your identifications and the Voucher. Please, go there 20 minutes in advance on the reserved time. After the metal detector go to "On-line and groups Desk" and there show again the Voucher.

The Vatican Museums is one of the most important Museum complexes in the world, housing very important masterpieces from the Egyptian Age to late Renaissance: ancient statues such as the Laocoon, the Apollo Belvedere and the Torso del Belvedere are hosted here.
Our tour continues with the Room of the Segnatura, originally the personal library and office of Pope Julius II, and the first that Raphael painted. The frescoes in this room are the most celebrated of all the Raphael Rooms. The 4 main frescoes represent the fusion of classical and Christian themes. Admire the Room of Helidorus, the Room of the Fire in the Borgo and the Hall of Constantine.The group’s last stop is in the Sistine Chapel. Because no talking is allowed in the chapel, the guide will make a stop before entering, and with the help of illustrated panels will explain the paintings that are in the chapel.
The chapel was built in the 15th century and was decorated with frescoes by the mostfamous artists of the time including Botticelli, Perugino, Ghirlandaio and Michelangelo.The visit proceeds with St. Peter's Basilica, the world's most famous church. The first stop at St. Peter’s is in the square where the guide will explain the architecture and the fascinating external details. The church was designed by Michelangelo, although he died before its final completion. Upon entering the Basilica, the group will stop at Michelangelo’s Pietà. His only signed work, Michelangelo sculpted this beautiful marble statue when he was only 25 years old.
The next and last stop is at Bernini’s Baldacchino. Made in the 17th century, this huge bronze sculpture stands above the high altar and St. Peter’s tomb. At the completion of the tour, visitors are free to further explore the Basilica on their own, but they cannot return to the Museums.
